Face: For a cleaner, fresher feel, spread a tinted moisturizer instead of a heavy foundation (Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, $42). To cover up those dark spots, dab a cream concealer under your eyes or any other trouble spots (MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer, $15.50). Seal the look by brushing powder over your face (Origins All and Nothing powder works for every skin tone, $24.50).
Cheeks: For a more luminous look, accentuate your cheeks with Bobbi Brown’s Apricot Shimmer Brick Compact ($38). Smile and dab the powder with your blush brush over your cheeks in a circular motion.
Sass up your look for a night out by applying blush along your cheekbone instead of the cheek itself.
Lips: Line your lips to create a flawless look. Pair with a long-lasting gloss for the perfect smile (Yves Saint Laurent’s Golden Gloss, $29).
Daytime Eyes: Sweep the ivory-pearl shade from your Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick over your lids. Tip: Dab some extra shadow on the inner corners of your eyes for extra radiance. Next, place your finger at the outer tip of your lid and, pulling lightly, line the corners of your eyes with a dark-blue or brown pencil (Rimmel London’s Special Eyes Precision Eye Liner Pencil, $3.49). Finish with a quick stroke of mascara (DiorShow Unlimited Mascara, $24).
Nighttime Eyes: In the outer corner of your eye, draw a sideways “v” with a brown, green, black, or purple shadow. Color the rest of your lid with a lighter hue. Using an angled brush, line your eyes with a gel liner (MAC Fluidline gel liner, $15; Angle brush also by MAC, $19). Tip: for an extra sleek look, lift your brush at the very end to create a wing or cat eye. Finish off with some mascara, paying extra attention to the corner lashes for a sultrier eye.
