Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s charming good looks made them a Hollywood fairy tale. They met as rising stars, and brought their love to the big screen in 1999’s Cruel Intentions. They split in 2006, after two kids and seven years of marriage. Reese’s style was very prep, she looked like a model from a J.Crew catalogue, often wearing cardigans and traditional prints.
During the early days with Ryan, Reese’s style was sweet meets innocent, with simple colors and designs. Even her hairstyle was the definition of basic- shoulder length, and straight. Too bad she didn’t take a cue from her future onscreen alter-ego, fashionista Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.
