Graphic artists seek to redefine traditional art venues
Sneaker stores and restaurants are the new age art galleries for graphic artists from the Sound of Art, an organization that connects non-traditional artists to the art-buying public.

It's not that there is anything wrong with the MoMa or the Whitney, but to these artists, it's about bringing art to the masses.

Elevator spoke with the founder of the Sound of Art, its artists and venue owners about these "everyday" art spaces.
